Medical Services
In case of a medical emergency while traveling,
contact the Delta Rescue Squad or the Alaska State Troopers by dialing
911.
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s) work
on a volunteer basis for round-the-clock calls. Delta Junction has
two ambulances and the EMT’s are responsible for ambulance
and rescue calls as far south as Dot Lake on the Alaska Highway
and from Black Rapids to Salcha on the Richardson Highway.
Family Medical Center is located at Mile 267.2
Richardson Highway and is staffed by a doctor and a variety of other
personnel including nurses, lab technologists, medical office assistant,
insurance clerk and receptionist.
